Thank you note. #NaPoWriMo14

Thanks to everybody who paid this blogsite a visit during 2014 National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo).  We hit a lull in the middle and it got very tight towards the end, colliding with the semester’s end, projects due, and finals to study for.  But just like the old Jello commercial, there’s always room for Poetry.

The second year was different from last year, my first NaPoWriMo, possibly because we all knew what to expect.  I found myself reaching back to the 2013 collection (also on this blog), not so much for inspiration as just to know what we were thinking about on a given day, one year ago.  There were some surprises, needless to say!

The Rory Story Cubes provided an interesting detour.  We will continue to explore them as we merge storytelling with poetry-making.

Ha!  This is almost a poem!

We will try to continue posting as the spirit hits us.  Thanks again for supporting us with your presence.  –Ray
