Mountain verse – December 7, 2014

I can’t remember my password –
but the sunrise over the hills
is memorable, breath-taking…
Let’s raise the blinds,
open the windows,
get some ionizing radiation in this place!

Looking for the Jackson eulogy online
but all I can find is Farrakhan,
so I fire up the Kindle
and download today’s Wash Post –
there will be articles there.

Went to Cherokee yesterday
for medicine man training.
Found a nice purple T-shirt –
afterwards –
with the N word:
Native, Twenty Four/Seven –
for dress down Friday at the library.

Sun rays still banging
through my windows,
and my stomach is growling –
time for a mountain breakfast.
