no new poetry….but doing lots of librarian blogging here:

There was a silent mist in the valley
and a thin blanket of stem
was rising from the surface of the creek
that curves with the country road that leads
from my newest heterotopia.

Frost covered the community garden
and a thick fog hid the mountains
that surround, preserve and protect us.
